Pastor Anthony Evelyn of The Good Tidings Gospel Hall at Boyds, St. Kitts delivered the sermonette tonight Monday, 21st March, 2016 at Reverend Khrystus Wallace's Monday night Trinity For Jesus session.

Pastor Evelyn spoke on the topic, "Don't Bend To Negative Pressure." He used the story of Shadrach, Mesach and Abednego to admonish both youth and adults to take a stand to do RIGHT and GOOD and stay positively engaged in sessions such as those that Brother Khrystus host and also to take a stand for GOD.

The night ended with FREE tuna sandwiches and punch being served to ALL in attendance.

Sometimes I Honestly WISH I Had A REAL Friend

Have you noticed that technology has seemed to divide us not unite us even though we have hundreds of so-called facebook and whatsapp friends? How many of them check up on you now and again? How many of them call you just to see how you are doing? 

How many of them would remember to walk by you with a slice of the cake they baked or some of the juice they made? How many of your so-called facebook and whatsapp friends pass you straight on the street? When last have we sat outside with a few friends and laughed and joked all night? 

Who can you call or visit just to talk without worrying your business will be on the street the next morning? When last has someone given you a hug just to show appreciation and nothing else? 

Have you noticed that when you try to be KIND and NICE to others they think that you have ULTERIOR MOTIVES? The SMARTPHONE honestly isn't good company at all. Too much of the NEWS we feed our minds is NEGATIVE and keeps us living in FEAR and STIFLES JOY. 

Will we ever be able to be down to earth, raw, real and have decent fun again if many of us have our PHONES as our BEST FRIENDS and barely associate with people? 

Sometimes I wish I had a real friend who doesn't just see me as WEIRD and CRAZY, but just real, frank and down to earth. SMH
