It's Time For The Church To Open It's Eyes Says Reverend Khrystus

I just responded to a Facebook comment: True. But we live in the real world and my audience isn't just Christians. We have to accept the fact that the world has changed. Sex images and sex videos are readily available on Facebook, instagram, websites. They were not in Bible days. Therefore since they are available for free through various media, you have to teach age of consent and safe sex because youths experiment.

Promote abstinence and we should teach its benefits but many are already participating so it is wise to teach safe sex. Youths have already seen thousands of single mothers and fathers saved and in the church and have worked out that if you have sex before marriage you won't go to hell which is the truth but there are consequences.

You can get pregnant and the guy leaves you and say he's not the father. You can have someone spitefully accuse you of rape to try and get you locked up as they go with another man + many other reasons. You can get STDs and AIDS from having multiple sex partners. The Bible promotes marriage to help believers avoid these pit falls but the truth is if you have sex before marriage you won't go to hell but be prepared to handle the risks and consequences. How many single mothers and fathers do you know saved and praising God in the church?

Churches should teach Choice and Consequence also because from the very beginning of time with Adam and Eve, that's how God intended the world to run. The Apostle Paul, the writer of the most books in The New Testament provided much good advice and I love his teachings but we must also adjust to the times in which we now live. Paul didn't know about internet and spreading and recording sex videos. So we must adopt to the changing times and guide our youth and let them choose their path remembering there are consequences to all our life choices good or bad.

Having sex before marriage won't send you to hell, but be prepared to handle the consequences that's why Paul and the great Bible leaders from the Old Testament right up promoted marriage to help keep society in order and ensure that women and men work to build stronger families which make stronger communities which make stronger countries. But Government laws introduced age of consent giving the OK and in countries where there is freedom of choice youths will experiment as they are not breaking the law of the land. In St. Kitts and Nevis, the age of consent Is 16.

That is the age where the government allows a girl to trouble a guy and a guy to trouble a girl and have sex. Churches don't just have Christian attendees so they need to become more open minded and educate holistically on not just the Bible, but finance, business, sex, dating etc. The church encourages people to get married and don't talk to the new couple of how important sex in a relationship is or about the problems with money in love and marriage. Its time for the church to open its eyes!!!!
