Dozens upon dozens of Trinity Community residents and residents from other communities across the Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis gathered in their numbers this evening to remember the late Kervin Bergan who tragically lost his life in an Easter Monday 2015 Vehicle Accident on Johnson's Longpath - St. Kitts about two minutes drive from his home.

The event had to be held close to the accident site in a bus station due to inclement weather. The inclement weather in no way prevented the massive and unbelievable crowd from gathering. The presence of former Constituency # 3 Labour Party Parliamentary representative and former Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Sam Condor and current Constituency # 3 Labour Party representative The Honorable Konris Maynard were among a few of the most outstanding federal dignitaries at the memorial event this evening.

Trinity's Pastor Ronald Taylor of The Holy City Worship Center located at Fort Thomas Road, Basseterre, St. Kitts along side Trinity's Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace of The Dare 2 Be Different International Victory Centre located at Boyds - St. Kitts, were the officiating ministers of the gospel at a United Villages of West Farm, Boyds and Palmetto Point Community Group planned Candle Light Service tonight.

Pastor Ronald led the attendees in prayer, encouragement and the singing of the songs Father Along We'll Know More About It, In The Sweet By and By, Hide Me Now, My God Is Awesome.

He then introduced his co-pastor, Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace to deliver the sermon for the event titled OH  YES  JESUS  CARES.

Both Pastor Ronald and Brother Khrystus constantly reminded their audience that God uses tragic situations like these to speak to individuals. The ministers reminded folks of the brevity of life and the importance of coming into a covenant relationship with God and not following RELIGION, but rather spirituality and righteousness.

Pastor Taylor, after Brother Khrystus' sermon, opened the floor for tributes.  Brother Khrystus then led the attendees to the exact spot where the late Trinity's Kervin Bergan died and folks lit their candles in remembrance.

Pastor Taylor, driving his vehicle with hazard lights and Brother Khrystus walking behind, led the huge crowd in a walk from the accident site at Johnson's Longpath to the home of the late Kervin Bergan for the conclusion of the Community Healing Candle Light Vigil.

It was here, the late Kervin Bergan's mother couldn't help but take the microphone and express her gratitude to the organizers of the event stating that she didn't know that so many people LOVED HER SON  KERVIN and that the community cared so much. She also stated that she wanted to meet the parents and the children of the other youth that survived the accident.

Brother Khrystus made a surprise announcement informing that on the Saturday, 25th April, 2015, his group will be hosting a Take Away dinner to raise funds for the victims of the Easter Monday 2015 accident.

All in all, the WELL  ATTENDED Trinity's Kervin Bergan's Candle Light Vigil was a SUCCESS.

Sound and keyboard music was provided by Trinity's DJ MERCI - Brother Lemercius Wallace and both Pastor Ronald Taylor and Brother Khrystus Wallace , two best friends in ministry were ordained by Bishop Dr. Joseph Henville's Faith Tabernacle Ministry in Old Road - St. Kitts.
