Brother Khrystus Turned Verchilds High School In St. Kitts Upside Down With Entrepreneurship Speech This Morning.
When Mrs. Mavis Armstrong, Senior Guidance Counselor at The Verchilds High School got approval from Mrs. Mary Clarke to invite Brother Khrystus V. K. Wallace to address the students for Career Week 2015, she had FULL CONFIDENCE that the young man was capable of inspiring hope and injecting a fresh energy into tomorrow's St. Kitts - Nevis and world leaders.
Mrs. Mavis Armstrong taught Brother Khrystus in Grades 4 and 5 at The Dr. William Connor Primary School and Mrs. Mary Clarke taught Brother Khrystus Spanish in 2nd Form, 3rd Form, 4th Form and 5th Form at The Verchilds High School.
At approximately 8:35 am, Principal Mary Clarke settled her students into the Verchilds High School Hall and introduced Brother Khrystus, who is also an Ordained Minister of The Gospel to keep the morning's assembly and then make his featured presentation for Career Day on Entrepreneurship with an aim to inspire students to start their own business in the future.
Seemingly happy to see a fresh face and fresh energy, the students nearly blew off the Verchilds High School's Hall Roof with their energetic, lusty and lively singing of songs such as I AM A PROMISE and GOODBYE WORLD and the reciting of Psalms 1.
Brother Khrystus then prayed a POWER JABEZ blessing over the lives of the students and teachers before leading the students into his final song, THANKS - THANKS - I GIVE YOU THANKS.
Before the singing of the song THANKS, Brother Khrystus informed the students of the tragic earthquake in NEPAL that killed so many over the weekend and reminded his listening audience of the importance of remembering to give GOD THANKS for the little and big things in their life such as where they live, what they eat, the fact that they can hear, see, feel and so forth.
Using teaching aids and evidence, the 28 year old inspiration gave a run down of how he entered the world of entrepreneurship at age 13 while attending that very same school, The Verchilds High School in St. Kitts.
He was sure to share of his successes and trials and inspired students to begin to think out of the box and find creative ways in which they can choose ENTREPRENEURSHIP as a Career. Brother Khrystus in talking about his business challenges ended that part by saying, "WHEN LIFE THROWS YOU A LEMON, SIMPLY MAKE LEMONADE. Get back up and just keep on going!"
Brother Khrystus focused on five key points:
At the end of the presentation, cheers from the Verchilds High School Hall resurrected into the air and were probably even heard at Government Headquarters in Basseterre - St. Kitts.
Both students and teachers were even more happier when they were informed that everyone was going to receive A FREE PRINT COUPON redeemable at KVK ENTERPRISES before 2015 ends which would allow them to put a picture on a shirt for FREE, or put their names on their bag for FREE or put their numbers on their jersey's for FREE or get something else printed for free.
The 300 coupons valued at EC$6000 / US$2208, Brother Khrystus told Principal Mary Clarke, was one was of giving back to the school that is partially responsible for where he is today.
After special thanks from Mrs. Mary Clarke, school principal, Brother Khrystus, Owner and C.E.O of KVK ENTERPRISES - www.kvklives.com spent the morning at the school interacting and answering many questions that students wanted to ask him, talking privately with students who wanted to let out their heart and also socializing and distributing FREE PRINT COUPONS AND FREE SNACKS sponsored by Dare 2 Be Different International - www.daretobedifferentskn.com to the students and teachers.
