Proverbs 22:1 - A
good name is rather to be chosen than great riches and loving favour rather than silver or gold.
To be honest is a choice! It's a personal decision!
It cannot be bought in stores or ordered online. The only APP
for it is the Bible!
You are the only one with the power to make that decision,
that you will be truthful, you will be honest in all you do. It may not be by
popular demand, but you will be respected. Decide with yourself that you will
not compromise the truth . Do not lie because of the benefits. Character cannot
be bought! You have to earn it! Dare to be different! Be a Daniel! (Find this
story in Daniel chapter 6)
Don't be like Pilate who knew the truth but he allowed
the voices of the people to turn a blind eye and deny the truth thinking that
the washing of his hands would be the end of it for him. (Find this story in
Luke 15: 1-15 )
There is something called "conscience." No
matter where you run, it always follows you!
Its like trying to get away from yourself. You can't! You
are stuck with YOU, so live your life clean in the sight of God.
In our everyday living we must demonstrate honesty. At your
work place, at home, even in your relationships. Love and friendship alike.
DO NOT abuse someone’s trust in you. Do not take them for
granted thinking and believing they would be around all the time. People get fed
up too, after a while of been played too much. Do not take someone kindness for
weakness or for granted.
One day, they will walk away from being your personal ATM.
It does not mean they would be mean to you, they will just be wiser and
stronger in exercising the use of the word, NO!
Be very careful with who you take advice from. Not everyone
intends their advice for your good. Some give it out of jealousy. They disguise
their betrayal in the suit of advice, and by implementing what they say, it
ruins you.
Note well, some people will go to any length necessary for
you not to succeed! They usually want you to end up unhappy and lonely while
they are living and enjoying their life. Treat people's heart with respect!
My motto in life
which I try to live by daily is this. Be kind to everyone you meet, life does
take some unexpected turns and you never know where you might fall off and
whose hands your fate may lie in.
That person shouldn't have to be second guessing how you
feel about them. Tell them the truth, even if it will hurt. They will thank you
later for not playing them. Be sensitive and considerate to other people’s
feelings. We are all equal in value, but different in nature.
What you say and do will always bring a harvest. (KARMA)
What kind of harvest will you have?
Proverbs 4: 23, keep thy heart with all
diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 18: 21 Death
and life are in the power of the tongue...) Trust God to lead you in everything.
He knows you better than you know yourself or than anybody knows you. You are
not an afterthought to God. Be considerate. Show compassion. It goes a long
way!
I fought with myself about writing this and sharing it
with our GLOBAL Dare 2 Be Different International – www.daretobedifferentskn.com and Turning Point International (St. Kitts-Nevis) audience
and God told me to just go right ahead and I didn’t want to end up like Jonah,
so I did.
I believe that this word is meant more for me personally, but I had to share it with you too. Our ministries are like to BE REAL with everything we do.
I do hope
that you find some strength and courage to make TODAY the TURNING POINT
IN YOUR LIFE.
TRUST GOD and follow his son
JESUS. That’s all that really matters!
