TO  MOTHER

Because you braved the risks
Of child bearing - I am now here.
Because of you I braved
The rough and lonely seas
Of Life.

I am now grown
Because of you.
I am what I am
Because of you.
I'm proud to be somebody,
On my own.
I owe to you my confidence and independence.

Because of you I find
Better and better solutions
To face life's challenges,
Cross bridges,
Solve pressing problems, and be a winner.

You taught me how to live.
I care about you mother, dear.
I feel your every pain.
I wish for you a future bright,
With little or no strain.

Your special day is special,
Not just for you, but me.
For I'm overcome by gratitude,
And I love you tremendously.

I'm thankful for the lovely things,
You always find to do.
They're etched in marble in my heart,
While great blessings follow you.

. . . a poem suggestion for you reading all around the world for Mother's Day 2015. CHERISH  YOUR  MOTHER. I  SOMETIMES  WISH  MINE  WAS  STILL  AROUND
